Food Friday - Slow Cooker Beef Stew
I took advantage of one of the first truly fall-like weekends by breaking out my slow cooker. I love slow cooker recipes because they are easy to throw in before work (like Jennie did), but nothing beats starting a hearty beef stew Sunday morning, only to have it finish up just in time for the latest Homeland. After Googling around a bit, I landed on this recipe, and it turned out great. As an added bonus, it freezes well, making it the perfect meal for lunchtime leftovers.
P.S. - I'm still getting used to my new camera lens (which explains the blurry photos); any tips on shooting with a low f-stop would be much appreciated!
